Sustaining and strengthening the PDP community
The PDP creates a vibrant professional community which welcomes newcomers and supports alumni in amplifying their impact, such as:
- The initial PDP experience includes many intentionally designed ways to build community, creating a safe environment to share ideas and connect people.
- Participants can return to the PDP multiple times, enabling them to shape the PDP while continuing to grow professionally, and stay in the community.
- National chapters were started by PDP alumni who wanted to stay in the community
- The PDP has held two reunions, which resulted in two volumes of papers, annual chapter meetings, and two leadership institutes
